Description
The Aeromerican Asset VTOL UAV
The Aeromerican Asset VTOL UAV represents the pinnacle of part 107 compliant performance. The Asset is engineered on the proven Mugin 4 Pro VTOL airframe, a trusted favorite in the unmanned aviation industry. Through expert integration, precision tuning, and rigorous flight testing—using only premium-grade components—we deliver a platform built for dependable performance under demanding professional workloads, all at exceptional value.
Powered by a 70cc opposed-twin gasoline engine (with optional electronic fuel injection) optimized for efficiency and low vibration, the Asset delivers unmatched range for its class. Its integrated, series-linked fuel tank system is scalable to meet mission-specific endurance requirements, supporting flight times that can easily exceed 6 hours.
The optional starter/generator and power management architecture recharges all batteries in flight, enabling rapid “gas-and-go” turnarounds. The brushless generator doubles as an engine starter, allowing the autopilot to command engine start and shutdown at safe altitudes during VTOL transitions. Landing, disarming, refueling, and takeoff only take a few minutes without the need to power cycle the autopilot, allowing for a rapid turnaround to support the next 6+ hours of flight operations.
The generous payload bay measures 22 in x 8.25 in x 7.25 in and can accommodate a wide range of payloads, including some traditionally reserved for manned aircraft.
Starting at $45,910.
Lead Time
All systems are built to order and fully customizable. Our production lead time is 6-8 weeks depending on configuration and component availability.
Quality & Compliance
There is a substantial performance difference between low-cost, plug-and-play components and the professional-grade hardware required for dependable mission operations. At Aeromerican, we focus on integrating robust, field-proven VTOL UAVs. The components selected for our aircraft are flight-proven, professional quality, and chosen based on rigorous engineering data. We trust our UAVs because we trust the critical systems that support them.
Our NDAA compliant versions are integrated with components that guarantee data security and integrity. This compliance ensures that flight controllers, radio systems, data handling hardware, cameras, gimbals, autopilot software, ground control system hardware and software, storage devices, network connectivity hardware and software, etc. are sourced from secure supply chains. No critical components are sourced from manufacturers domiciled in China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or from suppliers listed on federal procurement restriction lists. Our NDAA compliant aircraft are 2024 NDAA Section 1821 American Security Drone Act compliant, 2023 NDAA Section 817 compliant, and 2020 NDAA Section 848 compliant.
Our non-compliant versions are still made with quality, reliable, flight-proven components offering a more cost-effective option for operators who don’t require NDAA compliance. Several of the components in our non-compliant versions are remain NDAA compliant but the system overall does not meet full compliance criteria. We recommend these non-compliant versions for operators/procurers that are not utilizing federal government funding to acquire these platforms. Certain wildfire management agencies, search and rescue teams, and law enforcement departments have special exemptions under the NDAA.
