Description
The Aeromerican Asset VTOL UAV
The Aeromerican Asset VTOL UAV represents the pinnacle of part 107 compliant performance. With an integrated 3.17 gallon fuel tank and an electronically fuel injected 60cc engine optimized for efficiency, flight endurance can easily exceed 8 hours. The integrated generator and power management architecture recharges all batteries in flight allowing for rapid gas and go’s. The same generator also functions as a starter, allowing the autopilot to command engine starting and shutdown at safe altitudes during VTOL transitions. Landing, safing, refueling, and takeoff nominally take 3 minutes allowing for a rapid turnaround to support the next 8+ hours of flight operations.
Every Asset airframe is static load tested to general aviation utility category standards of +4.4Gs and -1.73Gs. Our Bind and Fly and Ready to Fly completion levels also feature conformal coated electronics and water resistant avionics enclosures. These features culminate into an aircraft that is ready to face the elements including light rain and snow.
The generous payload bay measures 13.3 in x 10 in round (7 in x 7 in maximum inscribed square) to accommodate a wide range of payloads, including some traditionally reserved for manned aircraft. The Asset provides a 12 in x 7 in blank downfacing payload mounting plate as standard. Custom options are available.
Starting at $42000.
Lead Time
All systems are built to order and fully customizable. Our production lead time is 4 – 8 weeks barring supply chain complications.
Quality & Compliance
There is a massive performance difference between Chinese plug-n-play (PNP) components that are often included with kits and professional quality hardware. At Aeromerican, we pride ourselves on integrating the most robust, mission capable VTOL UAVs. The components we’ve chosen to integrate into our aircraft are flight proven, professional quality, and selected based on rigorous engineering data. We trust our UAVs because we trust the critical components that go into them.
Our NDAA compliant versions are integrated with components that ensure data security and integrity. Our compliance ensures that flight controllers, any wireless transmission devices (radios), data handling hardware, cameras, gimbals, autopilot software, ground control system hardware and software, storage devices, network connectivity hardware and software, etc are sourced from secure supply chains. No critical components are sourced from manufacturers domiciled in China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia or from manufactures on the SAM.gov prohibited list. Our NDAA compliant aircraft are 2024 NDAA Section 1821 American Security Drone Act compliant, 2023 NDAA Section 817 compliant, and 2020 NDAA Section 848 compliant.
Our non-compliant versions are still made with quality, reliable, flight proven components albeit at a more attractive price point. Several of the components in our non-compliant versions are actually still NDAA compliant but the system overall is non-compliant. We recommend these non-compliant versions for operators/procurers that are not utilizing federal government funding to acquire these platforms (wildfire management, search and rescue, and law enforcement have special exemptions under the NDAA).
